Humberto Calderón is a friendly, committed producer who is known for his leadership and contributions to the internal processes of his organisation. He is a husband and father of 3 children, two of whom are young producers with academic training in the coffee industry. He has been implementing ecological practices on his farm for over 4 years in order to avoid the use of agrochemicals and contribute to the conservation and preservation of the environment. His farm is part of the Organic Production Program of the Terra Verde Association and is in the process of being certified. He also uses mountain microorganisms on his farm which helps to reproduce positive bacteria in the soil, improve the decomposition of nutrients, and improve the overall quality of his coffee.
