The Dukunde Kawa Coop (est.2000) was certified fairtrade /organic in 2004 & is dedicated to the development of specialty coffee in Rwanda. Washing stations like Musasa give small holders the opportunity to combine their lots & use high-quality processing methods to attain higher prices. Meticulously sorted through mechanical & manual sorting this coffee is fermented overnight for around 12 hours and dried on covered tables for about 14 days.
