Gatare is one of the oldest washing stations in the country, dating back to 2003. Gatare has a long reputation having been among the first stations to process very high quality coffee for export. The country’s complex flavour profiles are thanks to ideal growing conditions of high altitudes & nitrogen-rich volcanic soil. We took both their washed & natural this season, in comparison to the natural here you find a more silky tea-like body, with bright apple acidity and a smooth sweet sugarcane finish.
