Located in the village of Chichimes, the cool and moderate breezes are ideal for the cultivation of coffee. Founded in the 1960’s by Mr. Octavio Rafael Herrera Ordóñez it is now run by 2nd & 3rd generation. The varietals are cultivated under the various shade trees of Gravilea, Cushin and Chalun. Shading allows slower maturation and development of the coffee. The farm also uses dried leaves, coffee pulp & organic sheep manure as fertilizer, as well as other production techniques that protect the wildlife of the region.
