Floridalma has been growing coffee next to his husband, Rudy Castillo for over 20 years now. They each look after their plantation and unite forces when needed.They are located in a valley with very high boulders, which means they only receive direct sunlight about 5 hours per day. The Rocks/Boulders protect the location from heavy winds and help the land maintain high levels of humidity. This is one of the best examples of a micro climate. Floridalma has been working in coffee since she was younger by watching her father and mother tend to their coffee tres and learning about processing from them and later his husband, Rudy.
