La Candelilla was the first independent mill created in Costa Rica in the 2000’s. They used to deliver their cherries to the huge neighbourhood mill but decided in 1998 - in the middle of the coffee crisis, to add value to their product, taking control of the process. It’s the 3rd season we work with La Candelilla. When blind cupping the lots from our trip we immediately fell in love with this Typica Honey, at first we thought it was an SL variety because of it’s Kenyan like character.
