Rwanda, Gatare
12.50 EUR
Gatare is one of the oldest washing stations in the country, dating back to 2003. Gatare has a long reputation having been among the first stations to process very high quality coffee for export. The country’s complex flavour profiles are thanks to ideal growing conditions of high altitudes & nitrogen-rich volcanic soil. Unlike most other East African coffees, here that bright blackcurrant acidity is partnered with a more caramel richness & fuller body, making the perfect balance for this lovely ‘clean style’ natural.
