Colombia, Rogelio Espinosa, Gesha

A beautiful example of how a Gesha variety can shine with a classic processing method. Rogelio mainly cultivates Gesha and Java at Finca La Bonita, focusing on Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and plenty of shade trees. The hired pickers are motivated to only pick the ripest cherry and deliver them to their on-site wet mill. Once arrived, the cheries are dried on raised beds where they are frequently turned to ensure even drying. We have also included this Gesha in our experience box to show how beautiful well processed coffee can be with very little post harvest intervention. The coffee is extremely floral and layered, showcasing the complexity of the Gesha varietal with the extra punsh of the natural process.
