Central America or Colombia, the best of both worlds, higher acidity than the Brazil (B), with fuller body than the African (A).

In Veracruz, Mexico, Marisol Ramirez Serrano continues her father Felipe's coffee legacy on their family farm. Felipe has been cultivating coffee since 2003, using organic methods. Their three-hectare farm produces 12,000 kg of cherries per harvest, with seasonal workers ensuring the selection of perfectly ripe cherries. The farm benefits from a unique microclimate, volcanic soil, and biodiverse shade cover, with organic compost and conservation efforts sustaining the crops.

After harvest, cherries are processed and beans are naturally dried on raised beds. This year's coffee lot, named "Esfuerzo, lealtad y agradecimiento" (Effort, Loyalty, and Gratitude), reflects the family's values and Felipe's dedication to organic farming.

Despite challenges from birds, insects, and coffee rust, the Ramirez family perseveres, aiming to roast and grind their coffee beans for discerning consumers and experiment with processing methods. Beyond coffee, the farm produces macadamia nuts, oranges, and bananas, with sustainability as a core principle. Marisol's dedication showcases a family story of generational commitment to organic farming and a deep respect for the local environment.
