Happy new year, thank you, and thank you again for all your loyalty and support!
important update date of coffee prices.

Brazil prices are at an all time high and have risen 30% since last harvest.
This means an increase of 3 EUR on our green coffee price without adding rising general and staff costs.

We are already paying these prices since the release of our Caixa Da Fruta lot but chose to wait and see if the market would change after the new year before definitely altering our price. The changes in the market are also the reason why our Barbosa coffee is arriving a bit later than usual, this is because of speculation on both sides of the supply chain. The price per KG is changing to 34 EUR which is still very competitive and an increase of 4 cents per brewed single espresso. As always at MOK we choose quality over price and quantity, staying loyal to Barbosa and making sure our base coffee, Espresso B is a reference in quality for our brand.

We are sure that a lot of lower quality coffees will enter the “specialty” market to supress the price increase in many blends and even as single origin lots. We stick to the plan and try to make the best coffee possible yet offer something affordable and for everyone like our Espresso and Filter B.
